We guarantee that our pre-taped skin weft tape hair extensions are the best in the UK. We are different from all other extension salons as we offer a wide range of hair textures and lengths from different brands to match your hair perfectly. Maintenance includes re-taping, re-applying and cut/style. Joshua can create an individual look by mixing different colours together to achieve highlights, balayage, ombre or bright fashion colours. Please note that all hair is different in texture and density which means that you may only need a quarter or half head to achieve extra length and body.

The cold fusion keratin bonding is easily removed without any damage to the hair. Great Lengths hair extensions can be bonded in three different ways giving you a bespoke service like no other keratin bond system. They have over 55 hair colours to choose from which can be blended to create the perfect effect for you. We also use the new Great Lengths tape in extensions with up to 22 inches length.

This unique extensions system utilises tiny precision-engineered micro-links that are preloaded on a special application tool, or used as a single-link tool. Micro-bonds of human hair are fed through the link with the clients own hair and securely pressed into place using the pressing and releasing prong. This system easily allows the extensions to attach hair that delivers extra length or volume in a virtually invisible concept.
Mini Tips® hair extensions are made using our Memory Tip® technology which allows the bonds to bounce back to their original shape when unclamped, allowing the bond to be re-used without the need to re-tip the hair.

Joshua Altback, the first hairstylist in London to use tape extensions, tells me: “More people are getting a few around the front. Hair is generally thicker at the back, so I have a lot of clients who now get two or three scattered either side for density and fullness.”
According to Joshua, the colour match is more advanced now. “you can find two or three tones in one extension, which makes it look more natural.”
The other upside is that “you can take a break from them”, he says. “I have so many heads of client’s hair kept in the salon. People will give it a rest and then come back and put them in when they want.”
Are hair extensions damaging for your hair?
Hair Extensions can be damaging for your hair if you use the wrong method or the extensions put in are of a low quality or applied wrongly. You should be careful to use hair extensions if your hair is dry and brittle and damaged from over colouring it or heat damage. Everyone’s hair is different so it’s best to have a consultation before to see if your hair is suitable for hair extensions. Having in extensions for a long period of time can also be damaging to your hair so it’s sometimes best to give you hair a break for a couple of months if you want to carry on having them.
How should you look after your hair extensions?
You should always use a good clarifying shampoo and a hydrating mask (instead of a conditioner). If you have blonde extensions then use a purple conditioning mask to stop the colour lifting. Blondes may lift and can go brassy if you use heated straightening irons or tongs. It’s always best to adjust the temperature to 160 degrees and apply a heat protector before you use any heated appliances. We also recommend not swimming in chlorine or salt water as this may strip the colour and use a leave in treatment to help hydrate and keep the hair extensions in good condition. For styling you should always apply serum as this will help the cuticle stay smooth and stop the hair from tangling. A definite no no is colouring your hair extensions as this will never guarantee the colour you want and may damage the hair.
